Medication

The school will only administer medication during normal school hours when it is not possible or practical for the parent to do so.

The first dose will not be given at school.

Before medication is administered the school will require written confirmation by the parent, exact dosage of medication required and other specifics relating to this need.

A register is maintained for this in the school office.

All medical requests must go to the school office, classroom staff do not manage these requests.

School Health Nurse is available to follow up on any student medical issues.  Please contact the school office or Public Health Nurse – ph 540 9964.
