Emergency Procedures

In the case of an emergency situation the school will advise parents as soon as practical of our situation.  The safety of students and staff (and any visitors to the school at the time of the emergency) will always be our top priority.

We will communicate general information to our parent community via our website and email.  We will only text if it is an emergency and we need to close, evacuate or confirm we are safe to open.  Please be aware that our communications will dependent on the availability of networks and power.

Decisions will be made in line with Ministry instructions and official Civil Defence advice.
